Description
Tranquility is a 3d replica project inspired by the cover art of the Arctic Monkeys album "Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino", which is an artistic rendition of a hotel built on The Moon. The album itself holds personal significance, making this a passion project.
Introspection
At the time of creation, some parts of the model had positional alignment issues. Said issues were eventually resolved thanks to the experience gained from the development of project TBHC Line Art, which is a retrofuturistic screen-rendition take on the same album cover art structure.
Future Prospects
The original hotel structure pictured on the cover art is placed on top of a tape recorder which makes some of the top parts of the structure, including the higher up sign-like hexagon spin as the tape inside plays. Details such as these open up future avenues for the project model, such as a motion video as well as an additional model for the tape recorder.
